Today I saw a beautiful Siamese cat outside a house on a corner (former old shop converted to a home). I don't like to see cats near roads.
Being a busybody, I went over to investigate. The door to the house was open but its screen door was shut (not locked). Screen doors are quite common here. They are usually reinforced and lockable.
I called out but no one answered so I opened the screen door and let the cat inside. I still don't know if the cat belonged to the house but at least it's off the street. If the cat doesn't belong there, someone is in for a nice surprise.
